EFFECTIVE FRIDAY 5TH FEBRUARY:
You may have noticed that the road signs have already been changed. As of this Friday, 5th February, the speed limit on the A6 between Hathern and Warwick Way, Loughborough, is 40mph. This has been sealed into law by Leicestershire County Council under their powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

A £43,000 bid has been submitted to the Forestry Commission to fund the creation of a 15-acre community woodland in Hathern.
We've been working with Charnwood Borough Council, and in particular our Borough Councillors, Keith Harris & Emma Ward, on the project which could see around 15,000 trees planted on the council-owned land near Golden Square.

The Council's garden waste service will resume on Monday November 9.
The service which is operated by the Council's waste partner Serco was paused for two weeks after a small number of Serco staff tested positive for Covid-19 and a number of employees were required to isolate.

As COVID rules in the country tighten and more public events cancel, it's natural that households will be looking to hold their own mini-fireworks in gardens etc.
