Hathern Park - Partial Reopening
We are pleased to be able to reopening the green spaces within Hathern Park following Government Guidelines, however please not all play areas (including the skate-park) remain closed. This is due to us being unable to complete the regular safety checks required for these pieces of equipment.

Due to the current restrictions placed on us we are unfortunately unable to deliver the Hathern Herald to your door this time.
Instead, you will find copies of the Herald located at the following places:

Hathern Parish Council has been advised to close Hathern Park.
This is not a decision we took lightly and we will review this going forward. The Main Park Entrance has been locked.
William Davis will also be closing the Daisy Bank Play Area.

Due to the closure of our venue, Hathern Village Hall, our Parish Council meeting scheduled for Monday 30th March will not go ahead.
We are awaiting information regarding local government and how we can continue to operate in a safe manner.

A Statement from Charnwood Borough Council re Brown Bins:
With our waste partner Serco, we have decided to suspend garden waste collections from Monday, March 23 for a period of at least two weeks due to staff shortages resulting from the coronavirus.
Please do not put your bins out.

An extra meeting has been placed into the Parish Agenda for Monday 3rd February, 7.00pm at Hathern Library.
This meeting is a short meeting solely for the purpose of awarding the Grounds Maintenance Contract, and is open to the public.
